hi josh i recently applied i got an interview and for all the jobs i put high interest, showing that im willing for any position .. will that be a disadvantage to my interview?
Josh Bohr (3 months ago)
Not at all! But they will very likely ask you to narrow it down a bit. So maybe have a couple in your head that you would prefer most. But if you are unsure, feel free to ask questions about the roles to help you decide. It's possible that you could ask them which ones they think would suit you, but I really think that you should kinda have an idea of which roles you want in advance

Just wanted to tell you that you are the most charismatic and one of the most entertaining youtubers I have ever seen. Fantastic video and information. Thanks a lot for making it and sharing your knowledge. 😁 Hope I get the chance to do an interview. 😊
Josh Bohr (4 months ago)
Eurovision Talk I think you should probably be fine. I can't imagine they are going to be super picky. They should be more concerned with what your content is than with a couple missing commas 😂

Josh Bohr You are very welcome. 😄 I sent in my application on Wednesday for the Norwegian Cultural program. So nervous and excited, there is nothing I want more than to be accepted. 😁 One thing I am freaking a bit out about is that I had a few grammatical mistakes in the cover letter. I have gotten like 10 people to read it over, most of them say the letter is awesome and that its not s big deal, but I am so worried it will make my wait one year longer (or whenever they open it up next time for Norwegians). 😱
Josh Bohr (4 months ago)
Eurovision Talk Ok so that definitely made my day! Thank you! ❤️❤️ Have you already applied or is that still coming yet? Let me know if you've got any questions too! Thanks again for the kind words, they mean a lot 👊
Omg this was so helpful! My interview is in 2,5 weeks and I was really panicking 😱 what do you think it should be the right answer to “why do you want to work for Disney?”

Hello! I’m planning to apply, so I was wondering when did applications open? And how did you apply ? And where was the face to face interview? Sorry for so many questions I just want to know how it works thank you!! Hope you see this
Josh Bohr (7 months ago)
That shouldn't be a problem at all. There were lots of people in the program who hadn't been born in Canada.
Allie Mohn (7 months ago)
Josh Bohr awesome thanks so much! One more question this may be stupid but I’m curious you can still apply if you weren’t born in Canada right? I was born in Europe but I am Canadian and my parents were born in Canada and I live here now and have been for past 9 years
Josh Bohr (7 months ago)
Allie Mohn The applications open in fall I believe, at least for the CEP/ICP program that I did. The steps for the application process can be found on the disney careers website, but if you just google the disney cultural exchange program it'll be the first result. You can't apply yet but when the applications open in fall you will be able to. Finally yes the interview I describe in the video was face to face and in person 😊 Hope that helps! Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions!

I stumbled across your video while researching the different Canadian programs, and you are hilarious!! I've watched alot of DIsney CEP & CRP vids and none have been as entertaining as yours are. Thanks for the interview info, I hope to apply for both the CEP and CRP for next year. Would you ever do another program?
Josh Bohr (9 months ago)
Catherine McCann Wow thank you so much! You are too kind! I would love to do another program, but I don't think it is going to happen unfortunately. I'm graduating this spring and I gotta start focussing on finding a job in my field. But who knows, maybe my path will cross with Disney's again in the future? We will see. And btw good luck with your applications!! Let me know if you have any questions! 😊

Hi! so I just booked my interview and after watching your video I got a little concerned about a question. I don´t have any work experience so do you think that will affect in any aspect?
Josh Bohr (10 months ago)
Luisa Medina no problem! Good luck!
Luisa Medina (10 months ago)
Josh Bohr great! Thank you for everything 😄
Josh Bohr (10 months ago)
Luisa Medina like I said in the video, if you have an interview, it is much more of a formality than anything else so your hair shouldnt impact your hireability. They may mention it but it won't impact anything. The interview is more about role placement than who's in and who's out
Luisa Medina (10 months ago)
I "worked" twice promoting a school at a fair so maybe that'll work? thanks for replying! Yes i have, I´m really excited. Ok so I have another question (sorry :p) so the thing is that I have bleached hair and obviously I know that´s not within the disney looks and if I get accepted I would totally paint my hair my natural color but for the interview being so close in time would you recommend going like I have it right now? or would I have to paint it already?
Josh Bohr (10 months ago)
Luisa Medina they would probably prefer that you have some sort of work experience, but they won't write you off because of it. Do you have volunteer experience you can talk about? Depending on how old you are, you should be fine. If you were 22 and had zero work experience that may be a problem, but as long as you have some sort of experience in anything that can relate to Disney you shouldn't have a problem! Have you already booked your interview?
Karly RG (11 months ago)
Thank you for your tips! I hope the opening for CRP for my country comes out soon ):
Karly RG (10 months ago)
Josh Bohr Thanks😊🙆🏼‍♀️ You actually did helped me a lot
Josh Bohr (11 months ago)
FiveMinuteBreak Cover letters are weird cus you basically have to brag about yourself. First you want to state that you are seeking employment and then briefly summarize a couple key traits that you think make you a good candidate. Then in the following paragraphs use examples from past work experience to demonstrate those traits. For example you could talk about a time when you gave great customer service and made someone's day, and what that meant to you. At the end, reiterate why you are a great candidate and thank them for considering you. Hope that helps! If not, there are a bunch of website that show you how to write a cover letter, this is just what I do 😁
Karly RG (11 months ago)
Thanks! I actually have some questions about what should I write for the cover letter in my application :O
Josh Bohr (11 months ago)
FiveMinuteBreak no problem!! Let me know if you have any questions 😊
Brooke Rogers (11 months ago)
This was actually so helpful!
Brooke Rogers (11 months ago)
thanks! My interview isnt until January 30th so rn I am just part of the endless waiting game ahah
Josh Bohr (11 months ago)
Brooke Rogers you're right that everyone wants character attendant, but wanna know a secret? It actually can be SUPER boring. You often do the exact same job for your entire shift! I was in attractions in fantasyland, and at Princess fairytale hall I worked with character attendants to load the rooms. I rotated from position to position and from attraction to attraction every 45 min or so, but the "loader" did the same job for their entire shift! So while I think character attendant is super cool at times, I think it can also be super boring, whereas attractions is always changing which I really liked. Unfortunately I'm not sure how merch works, but I agree that magic kingdom is the best place to work!! Fingers crossed for you!
Brooke Rogers (11 months ago)
Josh Bohr I want to do character attendant, but I feel like everyone wants that. So realistically I have like 4 years of merchandise experience, so Id probably get that. But I would love to do that in magic kingdom!
Josh Bohr (11 months ago)
Brooke Rogers glad to help you out!! Where do u want to work in WDW?
Laura Hm (1 year ago)
Hi Josh! I'm having my interview on January and i'm pretty anxious about it! I'm interested in the Merchandising or Operations role, and I was wondering what kind of questions they ask you about the roles?
Laura Hm (1 year ago)
Josh Bohr thank you very much! One question, you were in the Operations area right? What kind of activities did you do? Or correct me if I'm wrong! :)
Josh Bohr (1 year ago)
Congrats on getting the interview! They actually don't "quiz" you on the roles, they just ask you for your thoughts on where you think you'd fit best. Like I said in the vid, before the interview, you'll be sent a list of all the possible roles with descriptions and videos of them, then you rank your interest in them. In the interview, they ask about your top three and why you picked them. Then you can ask any questions you have about the roles. So if you picked something and then changed your mind, you can talk that out here. It's just a conversation about the best fits for you! Good luck!
lauren roblox (1 year ago)
Hey Josh! Do you know if they had interviews for Montreal this year? Thanks! 💖 good video! i feel better!!
Josh Bohr (1 year ago)
Ya there are rarely any positions in Character Attendant roles but from my experience, it can actually be super boring. But Ops, especially in a busy area, is a blast!
lauren roblox (1 year ago)
Josh Bohr Not yet! Applications are still open but I was hoping to get Character Attendant until I was told that we had to be alumnis 😩 Lucky! I want to work at Epcot or Magic Kingdom 😊😊
Josh Bohr (1 year ago)
Operations is where I was! I worked in Fantasyland and it was SO fun! Have you been emailed about scheduling an interview yet?
lauren roblox (1 year ago)
Josh Bohr Awesome!! I applied for this year so I’m waiting for the results. I’m so scared because I don’t have a lot of work experience but I’m just trying to be in Operations. Thanks for the guide, I’m preparing and practicing for my interview if I get accepted!
Josh Bohr (1 year ago)
Hey sorry but I have no idea! They only show you the interview schedule after you've applied and made it to the interview stage. BUT I do remember that they did them in Montreal and Toronto the year I applied so they will probably do them there again
Dhelmalyz Pesante (1 year ago)

Braeden Daggett (1 year ago)
But actually though good vid 😁
I came to learn about Tai Lopez internship opportunities, and got this. Very disappointed. Tourn it off. Subbed, liked, and shared.
Braeden Daggett (1 year ago)
Hahaha yes I agree. Very Terriable. But you can't even spell turn it ouf.
Update: just finished my interview. Thanks to your tips, I've been hired! Going to be working in Harry Potter land.
