The Utilization of Western NGOs for the Theft of Africa's Vast Resources

04:23
The following in an excerpt from a lecture given by Mallence Bart Williams in 2015 (TEDxBerlin). "One thing that keeps me puzzled, despite having studied finance and economics at the world’s best universities, the following question remains unanswered. Why is it that 5,000 units of our currency is worth one unit of your currency where we are the ones with the actual gold reserves? It’s quite evident that the aid is in fact not coming from the West to Africa but from Africa to the Western world. The Western world depends on Africa in every possible way since alternative resources are scarce out here. So how does the West ensure that the free aid keeps coming? By systematically destabilizing the wealthiest African nations and their systems, and all that backed by huge PR campaigns -- leaving the entire world under the impression that Africa is poor and dying and merely surviving on the mercy of the West. Well done Oxfam, UNICEF, Red Cross, Live Aid, and all the other organizations that continuously run multi-million-dollar advertisement campaigns depicting charity porn to sustain that image of Africa globally. Ad campaigns paid for by innocent people under the impression to help, with their donations. While one hand gives under the flashing lights of cameras, the other takes in the shadows. We all know the dollar is worthless, while the Euro is merely charged with German intellect and technology and maybe some Italian pasta. How can one expect donations from nations that have so little? How super sweet of you to come with your colored paper in exchange for our gold and diamonds. But instead you should come empty-handed, filled with integrity and honor. I want to share with you our wealth and invite you to share with us. The perception is that a healthy and striving Africa would not disperse its resources as freely and cheaply, which is logical. Of course, it would instead sell its resources at world market prices, which in turn would destabilize and weaken Western economies established on the post-colonial free-meal system. Last year the IMF reports that six out of 10 of the world's fastest-growing economies are in Africa, measured by their GDP growth. The French Treasury, for example, is receiving about 500 billion dollars year in year out, in foreign exchange reserves from African countries based on Colonial Debt they force them to pay. Former French President Jacques Chirac stated in an interview recently that we have to be honest and acknowledge that a big part of the money in our banks comes precisely from the exploitation of the African continent. In 2008 he stated that without Africa, France will slide down in the rank of a third-world power. This is what happens in the human world. The world we have created. Have you ever wondered how things work in nature? One would assume that in evolution, the fittest survives. However in nature any species that is overhunting, over-exploiting the resources they depend on as nourishment, natural selection would sooner or later take the predator out, because it upsets the balance." More Details: http://www.pakistancrushers.com/contact.php processing equipment in mineral beneficiation stone after dressing equipment after treatment can make the content of the metal enriched several times or even hundreds, and compared with the smelting process, low cost, so it has great superiority in technology and economy. Therefore, the separation of the useful ore minerals and gangue, remove harmful impurities, full and reasonable utilization of mineral resources, is the main task of mineral processing equipment manufacturers, occupy the important position in national economy. Efficient utilization of iron and steel industry play a decisive role in the national economy status of iron ore resources, mineral processing workers is a difficult task, the development and utilization of mine tailings comprehensive utilization of mineral resources will be the most extensive twenty-first century, most potential economic and social benefits, the best one. Over the years, the domestic mining enterprises and related institutions to do a lot of work in this regard, the beneficiation technology of magnetite, limonite has made many achievements, such as a variety of magnetic separation equipment and flotation technology in iron concentrate quality and reduce the quality of play a large role in iron ore resources are used; also have improved in progress at the same time to the ore grade of steel plant improvement and utilization of lean ore. We also need to strengthen the complex refractory iron ore resources, to achieve comprehensive development, the use of iron ore resources, at present, China's economic development resources constrained seriously. China's scientific development of the mining industry, the rational use of resources and the effective use of resources, the core lies in scientific and technological progress. With the industrialization, urbanization and modernization of China, the demand for mineral resources will continue to increase substantially. The contradiction between supply and demand of mineral resources is becoming increasingly prominent, and the environmental pressure is becoming larger and larger. Therefore, how to build a conservation oriented society and the development of circular economy in an important position, in the field of mineral resources, and actively promote the mineral resources industry, comprehensive utilization of waste recycling and utilization of renewable resources is an important part of the construction of a conservation oriented society and the development of circular economy. Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum (DBM) - CORPORATE VIDEO

09:00
The extraction, processing and utilization of mineral geo-resources, subsumed here under the term 'mining', is a subject with great significance for the development of human civilization. The global importance of mining is increasing today, and will no doubt continue to do so in future. This is clear from the political campaigns and the intense media reactions associated with issues of raw material supplies and shortages, and also resource conservation (recycling and the use of renewable energy sources). The work of the Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum, as the leading international museum on the mining industry, takes place within this socially relevant context. As one of the Leibniz Association's research museums, the DBM is devoted to investigating the extraction, processing and utilization of mineral raw materials in the context of social, cultural, ecological and economic dynamics, spanning different historical periods. The museum shows the lasting impact which these processes have had on the development of society, and preserves relevant evidence for future generations. In short: The Deutsches Bergbau-Museum Bochum is the cultural memory of the mining industry.
The new scramble for Africa’s resources – looting or development?

01:01:43
The outside world has its eye increasingly set on Africa. Farming lands and new discoveries of oil, gas and minerals have made the continent interesting again – not only for former colonial powers and the United States but also China and India. Under the motto “trade no aid”, Africa’s poor are to be lifted by trade rather than aid. Meanwhile, history shows that rich natural resources easily become a curse. Instead of creating jobs, better education and healthcare, large export revenues often lead to corruption, conflict and to countries becoming dependent on raw materials. Who are the winners and who are the losers in the new scramble for Africa’s resources? Who ensures that the fortunes will benefit the citizens themselves, and what is required for a broad community development? These issues were discussed at a live-streamed panel debate in Lund on 10 November. Panellists included: Margaret C Lee, leading Africa researcher and author of “The 21st Century Scramble for Africa” Nnimmo Bassey, was awarded the Right Livelihood Award in 2010 for discoveries about the humanitarian and ecological disaster as a result of the Nigerian oil industry. Erik Esbjörnsson, Africa correspondent for Dagens Nyheter Moderator: Andreas Ekström, journalist Introduction by Ellen Hillbom, Africa Researcher at Lund University

Ministry of Nature Resources and Environmental Protection to utilize mineral resources intensively

02:43
Ministry of Nature Resources and Environmental Protection to utilize mineral resources of Belarus more intensively. Part of it is already used quite effectively: oil, potassium and common salt. But there are those which aren't working in benefit of the Belarusian economy. Sergei Kurilo reports: (Anatoly Lis, Deputy Minister of Nature Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus: "First of all, these are oil shale and brown coal.") Oil shale has already been found in the Luban and Turov deposits. According to geologists, this direction is very prospective. (Vladimir Varaksa, Deputy Director of the Geology Department of the Ministry of Nature Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus) To include the mineral resources in the economy, not only mining complexes are to be built. In some cases even new cities can appear on the map of Belarus. But millions or even billions of dollars are necessary for this. (Anatoly Lis, Deputy Minister of Nature Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus) Potassium salt is going to be extracted not only in Soligorsk. For example, the quality of this resource at the Petrikovskiy deposit is even better. (Vladimir Varaksa, Deputy Director of the Geology Department of the Ministry of Nature Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus) The extraction of proper mineral resources in Belarus will allow replacing import. For example, today our country consumes approximately 200,000 tons of sodium carbonate per year. Mostly, these are glass factories. And all the necessary rough materials are imported. An investor has already been found for the factory on the production of sodium carbonate in Belarus. (Vladimir Varaksa, Deputy Director of the Geology Department of the Ministry of Nature Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus: "It is planned to build a factory near Mozyr with a capacity not less than 300,000 tons of sodium carbonate per year. This will cover all the necessities of the country and a part of the production can even be exported.")

Information about Mineral and Mines in Nepal.

03:15
Nepal lies in the central part of 2500km long Himalayan belt. Almost 83% of Nepalese territory is mountainous. It is an underdeveloped country with vast natural resources such as water, minerals, forest, varieties of agricultural products and medical herbs. For the economic development of the country exploitation and proper use of such valuable resources, especially mineral resources, is extremely important. The mountainous region and the geological environment therein are suitable for metallic, nonmetallic (industrial, gemstones and energy/fuel) mineral deposits as well as huge amount of construction materials, dimension and decorative stones. Continues efforts are required to find the more mineral deposits and exploit them for the benefit of the people.

Michio Kaku predicts asteroid mining will happen sooner than you think

04:14
Good news! We're on the precipice of the next great gold rush... but it won't be in the hills of California. Or anywhere on this planet. It'll be in outer space, as there are untapped rare materials in asteroids that could be used for future technologies. That's right: there's gold in them thar skies! Theoretical physicist and one of our favorite Big Thinkers, Dr. Michio Kaku, explains to us that while China might have a stranglehold on the rare minerals and metals on our planet, there's no stopping interplanetary mining. We've even got an actual plan with actual economics already in place... we just have to wait until NASA's SLS rocket technology fully develops. Michio Kaku's latest book is the awesome The Future of Humanity: Terraforming Mars, Interstellar Travel, Immortality, and Our Destiny Beyond Earth Read more at BigThink.com: http://bigthink.com/videos/michio-kaku-asteroid-mining-will-happen-sooner-than-you-think Follow Big Think here: YouTube: http://goo.gl/CPTsV5 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BigThinkdotcom Twitter: https://twitter.com/bigthink Transcript: When I was researching my book The Future of Humanity I came across a comment made by Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson made the biggest gamble of his life buying the Louisiana Purchase from Napoleon. Napoleon was fighting the British he needed hard cash immediately. He had Louisiana and that whole middle portion of the United States and so Napoleon sold it to Thomas Jefferson for a song. But Thomas Jefferson thought how long would it take to investigate what he had just purchased? He had doubled the size of the USA. Think about that. And he probably violated the Constitution in the process. Everyone forgets that. Everyone glosses over that fact, but hey when Louis and Clark went into the territories that comprised the Louisiana Purchase they found tremendous prospects for wealth and prosperity, but Thomas Jefferson wrote that it may take a thousand years, a thousand years before they could then begin to settle the west. Well, how long did it take? A few decades because what happened? Gold. Gold was discovered in California sparking the gold rush and within just a few years millions of prospectors, settlers, fortune hunters converged on California. It didn’t take a thousand years to develop that. Then the question now is is there going to be a new gold rush in outer space? Some people think so. Some Google billionaires have created an organization, a company, Planetary Resources, that are looking into prospecting in the asteroid belt. Now, asteroids come in all shapes and sizes and we’re cataloging them now and we have already found some perspective asteroids that could be mined. One asteroid perhaps maybe 30/50 feet across brought back down either to the moon or to the planet earth could in fact yield billions of dollars in rewards because of the rare earths and the platinum type medals that you find inside. You see, the electronics industry is dependent upon rare earths. Where are these rare earth elements found it? Mainly in China. They’re everywhere, of course, but China has the most developed market and the Chinese in turn supply on the order of 90 percent of the rare earths. Well, a few years ago they decided to capitalize that and raise the price. All of a sudden shockwaves, shockwaves spread around the earth because people realized that oh my God China has a stranglehold, a stranglehold on high technology. How can you build the next iPhone if you don’t have the rare earths to make the transistors and to make the delicate components of these high tech devices? So I think what’s happening here is that some people see an area for profit and that is asteroid mining. Now of course, the infrastructure for that doesn’t exist, but NASA has looked at its budget and does have a program that has been shelved temporarily to redirect an asteroid. The Asteroid Redirect Program is to send of the SL ass booster rocket into outer space with the Orion capsule. It will then intercept an asteroid and bring it back to orbit around the moon. Then it can be mined as it orbits around the moon or as it’s brought back to planet earth. And so this is now beyond the phase of science fiction. We’re no longer talking about dreaming about an asteroid redirect, we’re talking about an actual plan with the economics, with the details laid out. However, at the present time we have to wait for NASA’s SLS rocket to mature to the point where we can intercept an asteroid.

CHINA'S SAND MAKING MACHINE INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT STRONG ROAD IS FAR

05:36
More Details: http://www.pakistancrushers.com/contact.php in recent years, the economic development of our country's demand for mineral resources is more and more big, can be said that the mineral resources is an important factor in the process of China's industrialization, while facing rapid economic growth momentum, the future demand for mineral resources will continue to increase and this requires to increase ore mining efforts, but also continue to improve the manufacturing level of sand making equipment, crushing equipment, and strive to improve the utilization efficiency of mineral resources in our country from many aspects, to ensure that it can promote the sustained and stable development of China's economy. The objective reason of market demand is that we can't avoid it. In the international market, excellent crushing equipment manufacturers are concentrated in Europe and America, and their market requires large specifications, high automation and strong mobility. China is in the large-scale basic construction period, but a quick start, less investment, the market demand led directly to the technique level is low and crudely made, high energy consumption, serious environmental pollution products have entered. The objective reasons can not be remedied in a short time, but the technology gap can be rapidly moved to the high-end industries in the world through technology introduction, digestion and absorption, and independent innovation. Although this method of overeating can allow us to weigh a few pounds in a short time, it is not a long-term policy. We should learn other people's advanced research methods and unique innovative ideas in this process of imitation. Crusher is a wear-resistant material, consumption of serious equipment, reducing wear and tear materials consumption is also the subject of many industry research. Improving the performance of wear-resistant materials is a way to reduce wear resistant materials, but only to improve the performance of wear-resistant materials is a dead end, and can not fundamentally solve the problem of wear and tear materials consumption. The gap exists, but after recent years of efforts, China has made substantial progress in some areas of the fragmentation. The new dry cement production line supporting major equipment development and application of engineering project in the original damping device and hydraulic system and flexible hydrophobic technology in toothed roll crusher is obtained using the advanced level, the technical indicators have reached the international similar technology. This also fully demonstrates our country's independent innovation in the good achievements and innovative ability. In recent years, China has increased investment in the central and western regions, and strive to make the central and western regions to get more opportunities for development. The Midwest is rich in resources, especially the current metal ore required for the development of the industry and non-metallic minerals, in Yunnan, Guizhou, Inner Mongolia and other regions to represent the future of these areas will become the new gathering place of mineral resources in china. Faced with this situation, requires domestic mining equipment manufacturing enterprises should adhere to the continuous innovation and development concept, to strive to improve the crusher and other mining equipment production efficiency, to ensure that it can meet the demand of the market, to ensure the realization of mineral resources can benefit our country with the continuous improvement of efficiency.
