Advanced Files and Folder Sharing | Access Network Shared Folders option in windows 10 |

07:35
This Video Will Describe how to Share folders files in windows 10, Access Network Shared Folders in windows 10 Share a file or folder on your network Use File Explorer (located on the taskbar) to navigate to the item you wish you share (in our example we want to share a folder called XH558). Right click on the item you wish to share, and at the bottom of the menu that appears click Properties. On the Properties window, click the Sharing tab. Locate and click on the Advanced Sharing... button. At the top, tick the box to Share this folder. By default, sharing a file or folder from Windows 10 allows other users read-only access, which means they can open it, but nothing else. If that's what you'd like to have happen, then click OK and the folder is shared. If you want to allow others to edit or delete the contents of the folder (an example of this might be where you have several computers and devices and want to be able to do anything to your files from any device) then you need to click Permissions to make these changes, and follow the instructions below. 9 Ways to Make your Computer Run Faster

06:02
Here is the detailed video showing how to make your computer run faster and smoother by doing few tweaks to the settings of operating system. Follow this video carefully to know the 9 Ways to Make your Computer Run Faster. Number 1: Removing Temporary files. Open Run by pressing Windows + R Keys and then type %temp% and hit OK. It will open up a window with all temporary files. Select and delete them all to make your computer run faster. Number 2: Again removing Temporary Files. There are two locations actually where the temp files will be stored. So, open Run by pressing Windows + R keys and now type just “temp” then hit OK. Delete all the files and folders which are in opened window. Number 3: Deleting Prefetched files. Open Run again by typing Windows + R keys then now type “prefetch”. If it asks for permission, allow it to delete all prefetched files which help to improve the performance of the Computer or Laptop. Number 4: Using Disk Cleanup. If you are using Windows 7, then use the search bar to get the Disk Clean up wizard or in case of Windows 8, go to metro dashboard then here select “Settings” and now search for Disk Clean up. Open the Disk Clean up wizard and select C Drive to clean. Select Ok and wait for few seconds to get clean up dialogue box. Here select all files and select “OK”. Confirm to “Delete All files”. It will take few seconds to minutes based on the clutter present. This is one of the methods to make your PC run faster and smoother. Number 5: Increasing Virtual RAM. Open My Computer Properties and then select “Advanced System Properties”. Here in the “Advanced” Tab, in the “Performance” section, select “Settings”. Now in the Performance Advanced Tab, select “Change” to change Virtual Memory. Uncheck “Automatically Manage Paging” option to edit the RAM allocation. Here select “Custom Size” and enter the RAM size. Since I’m having 8 Gigs where 4 GB is accessible, Im making it to 8 GB. Means multiplying 1024 with 8. So entering 8192 here as minimum and maximum RAM. Select “Set” then click OK. It will ask you to restart PC to take effect of new settings. Do it to increase the performance of the PC or a Laptop. Number 6: Managing Startup Applications and Processors. Open Run by typing Windows + R keys then type “msconfig”. Manage the startup apps from Startup Tab. Disable unwanted programs that starts soon after booting the PC. And in the “Boot” tab select Advanced options. Over here select “Number of Processors” and set to maximum (in my case selecting 6) and check the Maximum Memory. Confirm all the changes and it will ask you to restart the PC. Do it to make your computer run faster and smoother. Number 7: Improving system performance by editing Registry. Open Run by typing Windows + R keys and type “regedit”. Here go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then System then Current Control Set then Control then Session Manager then Memory Management then Prefetch Parameters. Here find EnableSuperFetch and double click on it to change the value. Change the value to “0” then confirm by selecting OK. That’s it. Number 8: Changing Folder settings. This is simple but effective. Go to “folder and search options” and in “View” Tab select “Always show Icons, never Thumbnails” and uncheck “Display file Icon on Thumbnails”. Confirm the changes by selecting OK. Number 9: Changing the security level to account users. Go to metro dashboard and start searching for “User Accounts” in the settings section. Open the user settings and select “Change user account control settings”. Drag the bar over to the bottom and save the settings by pressing Ok. That’s it. I never ask you to accept the permissions which improve the performance of the PC. 9 Ways to Make your Computer Run Faster https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5dygCvKypA Subscribe to TechEmpty at https://www.youtube.com/user/techempty?sub_confirmation=1 **Stay Connected with me** Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/imsaipraveen Twitter: https://twitter.com/praveenhub Google Plus: https://plus.google.com/+techempty Website: http://techempty.org

How to Open Control Panel in Windows 10 and Bring it Back to the Start Menu 🎛️🛠️💻

04:56
👍 Watch how to open Control Panel in Windows 7, 8 and 10, and also how to have it back after upgrading Windows 10 to the Crеators Update build. Read more about Windows tunning in our blog - https://hetmanrecovery.com/recovery_news/. In Windows 7 and earlier operating systems by Microsoft users could get to ALL management options and settings in Control Panel. To open it, you had to click Start / Control Panel. In Windows 8 and 10, Microsoft introduced a menu called Settings and users could no longer see Control Panel. Nevertheless, you still need Control Panel to set up and manage many system functions even in the latest versions of Windows. To open Control Panel in Windows 8 or 10: • Right-click on the Start menu or press the key sequence Windows + X • In the list that opens, select Control Panel. However, in Windows 10 Creators Update you will not see Control Panel on the list. In the last part of the video, I will show you how to bring Control Panel back to the list in Windows 10 Creators Update. Just watch it till the end. Here’s the second method. • Click on Start • And find the folder Windows System in the list of programs. • Open it, and you will find Control Panel there, among other items. Using Windows Search, you can find and start any application or program installed in your system. To do it: • Click on the Search icon • and enter “Control Panel” • Windows will find and suggest Control Panel (Desktop App) • Click on it and Control Panel appears. One more way: • Open Settings • Personalization • Themes • Desktop icon settings • Among other icons, you can see Control Panel • Check its box • Apply / OK • After that, the Control Panel icon will appear on the desktop and it will be available all the time. You can also start Control Panel by using Run tool. To do it: • Press Windows + R. • In the window that opens, enter the command Control • OK • Control Panel opens You can add a Control Panel shortcut to the desktop. To do it: • Right-click on the desktop. • And select New / Shortcut • In the window that opens, type Control in the field “Type the location of the item” • Next • Enter the shortcut name • Finish. • As a result, you will have a Control Panel shortcut on the desktop. • Now you can open it right from the desktop, pin it to the Start menu or taskbar. • However, you cannot do it with a desktop icon created in the way I have just shown you. And the last thing - as I said before, in Windows 10 Creators Update you will not see Control Panel on the Start menu list after you press Windows + X. If you are already used to starting it from there in previous builds of this operating system, I will show how to bring it back to its usual location. To do it: • Go to the folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\Group2 • This folder contains shortcuts to the tools shown in this submenu of the Start button. • In order to add the Control Panel item here, you have to put the Control Panel shortcut, which was located here in the previous build of Windows, into the folder we have opened. If you have access to a previous build of Windows 10, copy the shortcut from there. • If you don’t, download it from the link in the description for this video: https://hetmanrecovery.com/download/files/control-panel.rar. • Remember that placing a shortcut to Control Panel, which you have created on your own, to Group2 folder will not have the desired effect. • Restart the operating system. • Now when you right-click on the Start menu, you can see Control Panel back where it used to be. That is all for now. I hope this video will be useful for you. Hit the Like button and subscribe to our channel. Thank you for watching. Good luck.
