This can make the whole system easier to use and this tutorial will show you how to change these settings. Step # 1 -- Expose the Menu Bar You need to access the "Menu Bar" first in order to get to folder settings. Click "Start" then "Computer" to open Explorer. Click on the "Organize" button in the top left. Navigate to "Layout" and click "Menu bar". This will add a new bar to the top of the screen that reads "File", "Edit" etc. Step # 2 -- General Folder Settings On this new bar click the "Tools" heading and then click on "Folder options...". This will open a window that will allow you to change "General" settings for all folders in the first tab. This will allow you to adjust various navigation settings such as how new windows open. Step # 3 -- Changing a Folder's View The second tab, "View" allows you to change the appearance of this folder, such as selecting what type of files you want to be able to view, or whether you want to view drive letters. To save any changes you have made click, "OK". Step # 4 -- Changing all Folders on a Drive To change all folder settings windows makes the process simple. You first need to go a root directory. Go to computer and then select a drive, such as "C:". Click "Tools", then "Folder options...". The same window as above will appear, click the "View" tab, make any changes you want and before and then click the "Apply to Folders" button, click "Yes" on the dialogue box that appears, this will change all folder settings within the C: drive.

Advanced Files and Folder Sharing | Access Network Shared Folders option in windows 10 |

07:35
This Video Will Describe how to Share folders files in windows 10, Access Network Shared Folders in windows 10 Share a file or folder on your network Use File Explorer (located on the taskbar) to navigate to the item you wish you share (in our example we want to share a folder called XH558). Right click on the item you wish to share, and at the bottom of the menu that appears click Properties. On the Properties window, click the Sharing tab. Locate and click on the Advanced Sharing... button. At the top, tick the box to Share this folder. By default, sharing a file or folder from Windows 10 allows other users read-only access, which means they can open it, but nothing else. If that's what you'd like to have happen, then click OK and the folder is shared. If you want to allow others to edit or delete the contents of the folder (an example of this might be where you have several computers and devices and want to be able to do anything to your files from any device) then you need to click Permissions to make these changes, and follow the instructions below. You can easily show hidden files and folders in hard drives, Pen Drives, SSDs and Memory cards using this simple CMD attrib command. Sometimes we know malware programs like viruses hide important files and folders. Also viruses inject lots of malfunctioning hidden files in our computer. Or sometimes even normal users put lots of junk files hidden inside of our computers. You can easily unhide those hidden files and folders from your computer from folder options. But what if the options not letting you to show hidden files and folders? In these cases you can use this command prompt attrib command to unhide any hidden files and folders inside your computer. Here is the command... attrib -s -h -r /s /d Remember in Windows 10 Microsoft deprecated CMD or Command Prompt. But you can use Power Shell instead of CMD. This attrib command should run without any problem in Power Shell too. If you are using Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Vista or even Windows XP then you will easily get access to CMD. No worries. Final Note: You can unhide or show literally any files and folders using this command even if hidden files and folder option is showing "Don't show hidden files, folders & Drives" turned on. ========== My Other Windows Tips & Tricks Videos ========== --How To Check/Find Model Number of Laptop or Windows PC | Any Laptop - Dell/HP/Lenovo/Asus/Acer https://youtu.be/9-EvNruwtxw --How to Clear CMD & PowerShell Screen | CMD & PowerSheel Clear Screen Shortcut Available? https://youtu.be/2-9-6lil6Y4 -- How to Pin a Folder or Drive to Taskbar Easily Windows 10/8/7 https://youtu.be/wd5_rIb35Kg -- Use Taskkill Command To Force Quit Unresponsive Task/Process/Program/App From Command Prompt https://youtu.be/fv3_96dVCQU -- TrustedInstaller Permission Problem- How To Delete/Rename/Modify Files Protected by TrustedInstaller https://youtu.be/cy9TpKU5jPY -- Task Manager Hotkey- How to Open Task Manager on Windows 10 Using With Task Manager Shortcut Command https://youtu.be/t4vjcWx0hLg -- What RAM Do I Have? Fix a Problem Where Folders Open in New Window Every Time in Windows 7

02:31
When you open Windows Explorer and double-click a folder, it may open a new explorer window rather than showing the folder contents in the existing window. This may happen although "Open each folder in the same window" setting is selected in Control Panel -- Folder Options. This could happen after installing certain versions of VaultClient software, and issue can be resolved by registering a DLL file. Use these steps: Open an elevated Command Prompt window. To open an elevated Command Prompt, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. Type the following command and hit ENTER: Command for Windows 7 32-bit : regsvr32.exe "%Programfiles%\Internet Explorer\ieproxy.dll" Command for Windows 7 64-bit (Registering the 32-bit module) : regsvr32.exe "%Programfiles(x86)%\Internet Explorer\ieproxy.dll" You should see a similar message as below, in the output window: DllRegisterServer in ieproxy.dll succeeded.
