Exchange 2016 Vs 2010 Shell Commands for Admins

13:05
The Exchange Management Shell is built on Windows PowerShell technology and provides a powerful command-line interface that enables the automation of Exchange administration tasks. You can use the Exchange Management Shell to manage every aspect of Exchange. For example, you can create email accounts, create Send connectors and Receive connectors, configure mailbox database properties, and manage distribution groups. You can use the Exchange Management Shell to perform every task that's available in the Exchange graphical management tools, plus things that you can't do there (for example, bulk operations). In fact, when you do something in the Exchange admin center (EAC), the Exchange Control Panel (ECP), or the Exchange Management Console (EMC), it's the Exchange Management Shell that does the work behind the scenes. The Exchange Management Shell also provides a robust and flexible scripting platform. Visual Basic scripts that required many lines of code can be replaced by Exchange Management Shell commands that use as little as one line of code. The Exchange Management Shell provides this flexibility because it uses an object model that's based on the Microsoft .NET Framework. This object model enables Exchange cmdlets to apply the output from one command to subsequent commands. To start using the Exchange Management Shell immediately, see the Exchange Management Shell documentation section later in this topic.

RDP Logging Bypass and Azure Active Directory Recon

01:04:33
For this webcast we cover a couple of different topics. First, we talk about how to password spray in a non-attributable sort of way. Beau found a way to obfuscate what RDP logs record with launching password spraying attacks. This has implications for UBEA. It is... kind of cool. Second, we cover how to do recon against Azure Active Directory. We are seeing a huge push by organizations to move to cloud AD. And what is not to love? Placing your most sensitive authentication and authorization asset directly on the Internet...What could possibly go wrong? Well, watch and find out. Recreate Arbitration Mailboxes - Exchange 2016

03:14
To recreate the mailboxes we need to initially remove the User Accounts in Active Directory. These will usually be found in CN=Users Unless they have been moved. You will then need to run the following command from the correct installation media – Setup.exe /PrepareAD /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms – This command will re-create the Active Directory objects required to re-create the mailboxes. You will then need to re-enable the mailboxes using the below commands. Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “FederatedEmail.4c1f4d8b-8179-4148-93bf-00a95fa1e042” Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “SystemMailbox{1f05a927-8668-4003-adad-9b80758e86db}” Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “SystemMailbox{e0dc1c29-89c3-4034-b678-e6c29d823ed9}” Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “SystemMailbox{bb558c35-97f1-4cb9-8ff7-d53741dc928c}”
